get some sleep

You know, it could be the lack of sleep that's driving your creativity at the moment. Here, let me nerd out for a moment: The pre-frontal cortex of your brain, the part that helps you predict consequences, do logical thinking, figure out what others are thinking, etc., also helps with quieting down the rest of your brain and letting you focus (I.E. helps suppress some of the "oh look, shiny!" responses as well as the wilder ideas and creativity). This part of your brain is less active when you don't get enough sleep (and incidentally, can be more easily affected by stress and low blood sugar). You may get more ideas, though less ability to focus, if you're not getting enough sleep. I know it happens to me.
