That's basically Austen's main skill, though, isn't it? By the end, you feel just a little bit bad for Louisa Bennet, after all. And then she goes on to be freaking Lix Storm and you realize that the actress is everything amazing.

Yeah, best friend and I went to go see it because we're both huge fans of the 1995 BBC series. Friend thought it was only okay, but we were completely puzzled by Wright's desire to make it into a smoldering, sexy music video of sorts. No. Austen is about the dialogue, the propriety, things like that. aaargh. I choose to stick to Love Actually and Pirates of the Caribbean if I want to watch a Keira Knightly film.
