I've liked Jim Carrey in precisely two things: Liar Liar and The Majestic, which I find to be one of the most moving movies of all time. But I totalllllly understand what you mean. The book is really cute, though, so I recommend checking it out if you get a chance. Granted, it's a kids' book so I have no idea if it's aged well or not.
