I fear for all of the men in the Tower when that happens. Not that Natasha will be emotional and bitchy or anything, but she will glare at them for never having to go through this. Plus, it could lead to a hilarious fic where Pepper takes it upon herself to help out or something. I don't think Natasha would be awkward about it, but can you imagine Tony accidentally overhearing? And coming over to make immature comments? It won't end well.
I tend to like kidfic more than I like babyfic (I have a ongoing series in another fandom where my main character is a single father of a five-year-old daughter), but I totally get what you mean by the angst and the dealing with issues (both of them having histories of abuse, high-octane jobs where they've made a lot of enemies, and being not normal). Hence why I went with the aliens and fountains of youth jokes. And I really like Anuna babyfic, so I'm excited to see your next one!
Tony always gives the best, most surprisingly useful gifts. Uncle Steve totally writes Baby Nell little adventure books with baby Avengers running around the tower, you gotta figure. And Uncle Thor has the best stories.
