I was going to make a header...

So of course I made icons instead.

Icon: Natasha 01 Icon: Natasha 02 Icon: Natasha 03 Icon: Steve 01 Icon: Clintasha 01 Icon: Natasha 04 Icon: Clint 01

Care to guess who my favorite Avenger is? Yeah, it's totally Bruce Banner.

Watched the season opener for Scandal tonight and the premiere of Elementary. A solid night of television, all together. Liked both shows, though some of the writing in Scandal consistently makes me roll my eyes. Rapidly talking about politics does not make one Sorkin, Scandal writers. But keep dreaming. Maybe someday you'll get there.

FRINGE. TOMORROW.

Which is really all I need to say.

Isn't Scandal created by Shonda Rhimes? I've really only watched a few of episodes of Scandal, so I can't judge.

I thought Elementary wasn't too bad and I'm going to give it a try. :)
P.S. nice icons! I need to get back into making those...

Yeah, it's a Shonda Rhimes show. I'm not a Grey's fan, so I don't know anything about her other than she seems to kill off a lot of beloved characters. But I'm with you on Elementary. I'm not a fan of Moffat, so I'm happy to see a Sherlock show I can watch.

You should make icons! You should make ME icons and then I can hilariously mooch off of you because that's what I do.

Scandal is something I discovered during a televisual dry spell. It's pretty ludicrous really. Given the new episode is central to the overarching 'mystery/conspiracy' I think I need to watch it properly as I had it on in the background while I was doing other things....I'm taking it that (I forget all their names) that Mary-Sue was collateral damage in a previous super-secret-squirrelly thing that Scandal-boss-lady and her super-faithful-morally-compromised-that's-why-he-looks-haunted-and-tired-spy-with-a-heart-of-gold sidekick were involved in, that's why she feels compelled to help her.

Also, did you watch Last Resort? It has Andre Braugher, one of my all time favourite actors in the lead (hello Homicide: Life on the Streets) and Scott Speedman (that's not Felicity....and neither is the other tasty lady you're making eyes at) was surprisingly ok. I think it may descend into ludicrosity quickly but so far I'm not bored at least.

As for Elementary, I like a decent police procedural so if it fulfils that promise I'll continue watching.

My sister and I started watching Scandal because like you said, pretty ludicrous, really, but we were strangely hooked, even while we rolled our eyes (take, for example, Cyrus's cringe-inducing 5-minute monolgue where he yells at the president. PEOPLE DO NOT TALK THAT WAY, SHONDA RHIMES) It's a great theory that she's collateral because yeah, it's really the only way any of it makes sense, I think. The problem is, how did they find her specifically? And what was so important at her ex-boyfriend's office that needed to be blown up? Oh, Olivia Pope, so many mysteries, so many shades of white.

I haven't watched Last Resort yet, though I've heard great things. Not a big fan of submarine drama in general, so...yeah. But I will do my best to check it out. I'm worried it may not have a lasting premise, honestly.

Elementary kind of reminds me of a Castle that takes itself serious, but...Castle before it took itself seriously, if that makes any sense?
