Hahah, I am so glad you liked it! I've written fics about two women where they're close friends that understand each other, so this was a new one, to try and figure out how two adversaries could come to develop a respect for each other. I loved Maria Hill in the film and honestly wished we could've seen more of her or even some interaction with Natasha.
The next part is the scariest one of the six for me to write because it's got a lot of complicated emotion and also some martial arts instruction. The fic itself takes place over a space of something like ten years, all the way up to Maria being 2IC and liaison to the Avengers (which is something I may have stolen from you). Hopefully once I get past the next part, I'll be able to move faster on the fic.
And you can bet that Maria's past a Rescue Diver is DEFINITELY going to arise again. Muhahha.
