Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] astrogirl2. Because I'm a stealing stealer that steals.

1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.

2) Ask your f-list to post questions in the comments. For example: "One, nine, and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?", "Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?", "Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?"

3) After your f-list has stopped asking questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.

11 and 2 meet while sitting next to each other on an airplane. At the end of the flight do they:
a)Go off and have a drink together
b)Go off and have *more* than a drink together (whatever 'more' might mean) OR
c)Shake their heads and wonder who let the other out into the world unsupervised?

Abed Nadir would spend the entire flight watching Anna Bates (nee Smith) very closely to make sure she doesn’t accidentally drink hemlock, to the point of taking sips from her drinks to make sure she doesn’t go the way of her Cougarton Abbey cast-mates. Anna would spend the flight puzzled, intrigued, and amused by the quick-talking stranger beside her, assuming she’s not freaking out about being on, you know, an airplane. If it’s a modern version of Anna, they would probably exchange emails before they part ways, and email back and forth, politely. If she ever makes it out to Colorado, she would meet Abed and possibly Troy for a coffee (where she would no doubt be amused by Britta), but the relationship remains a cordial, friendly one (albeit that she will always wonder why Abed regularly emails her hemlock awareness pamphlets).

7) and 12) have to become teachers at a high school for whatever reason. What's the reason? What do they teach?

Troy Barnes, after spending six years at community college, discovers he accidentally has a degree in secondary education with a minor in plumbing (all of his time at the air conditioning school came in handier than he thought). He stumbles into a job as a substitute and then is bumped up to a full teaching position, teaching dance at a local school after the first teacher dies in a horribly, tragically ironic sort of way (slips on a banana peel). Sarah Walker goes undercover as a home economics teacher and her students regularly win state-wide cake decorating contests (but flunk basic relationships).

6, 13, 10, and 3 create a band together. What does each one play, and how far do they actually get? Name one song. ETA: and name the band.

Natasha Romanoff, Walter Bishop, Britta Perry, and Olivia Dunham start a band called The Ultimate Universe. Walter is the best bass player they ever had, Olivia Dunham is on lead vocals (there is canonical evidence of her singing, where, even though I know Scarlett has a great voice, we have yet to see Natasha sing). Natasha is terrifying on drums. Britta was their lead guitarist until she Britta’d it at a show in Phoenix, and now she plays tambourine and tries to back Olivia up on guitar. She is not allowed to carry gear, book shows, or talk to the fans without Natasha watching her.

Their band also has a vendetta against Some Worries, and they will staunchly defend Britta to any of the fans that call her the worst. The Ultimate Universe’s no. 1 hit is called Doing the Snake.

4 and 9 meet on a blind date. What's the result?

Captain Awesome and Mary Crawley go on a blind date. Mary is convinced at first that Awesome is an absolute idiot, and she gets extremely cutting, effectively hurting Awesome’s feelings. It is only when she realizes that he is genuinely an awesome person that she makes the Mary Crawley version of an apology. They have a blast together, but a second date never works out because Mary is called back to Yorkshire and Awesome goes on to medical school. They think of each other fondly.

So what's the Mary Crawley version of an apology?

From: [identity profile] frea-o.livejournal.com
She apologizes when she's genuinely in the wrong (a la breaking into Thomas's room in the first episode) and when it's important, but usually her apologies are more in line of the "You know you mustn't listen to the things I say." She's got kind of a sharp tongue.

3, 7, 2, and 13 go on a road trip. Who's driving? Who controls the radio? Where are they going? And how does it end?

Olivia Dunham, Troy Barnes, Abed Nadir, and Walter Bishop go on a road trip. Nobody is allowed to touch the steering wheel but Olivia after that time Troy tried to drive but got too interested in Walter and Abed’s long-winded discussion of The Twilight Zone to pay attention and they nearly hit a cow. Walter Bishop is very, very picky about the stereo. They’re on a road trip to visit things like the Giant Duck in New York and the world’s largest plastic acorn because the others were worried about Walter’s sanity (Troy and Abed were hitchhikers). It ends in disaster near the world’s largest ball of yarn, but most of the details are classified (but will end up in Abed’s award-winning documentary They Came From I-209).

8, 10, and 1 need to bake 200 Christmas cookies. How do they do it?

Clint Barton, Britta Perry, and Kevin Ryan need to bake 200 Christmas cookies. Ryan insists that all of the ingredients be natural and organic, which Britta enthusiastically embraces. Unfortunately, she accidentally buys milk from cows that were whipped for their cream. She has a nervous breakdown that somehow ends with her and Ryan covered in flour. Clint, being the ever-efficient assassin, calls the secret SHIELD baker’s guild and has 200 perfectly-iced, organic thumbprint cookies delivered within the hour.

12 and 4 wake up under a bar with no memory of how they got there. What happened?

Sarah Walker and Captain Awesome wake up under a bar, their memories mostly gone. It only takes Sarah a minute to realize that Awesome tried to download the intersect to save Ellie’s life, and now he can’t remember a damned thing either. They spend the next twelve hours in the weirdest version of Memento ever, guided by the wacky apps on Morgan’s phone (which they have no idea how they have). Eventually, they discover that Ellie, Morgan, Casey, and Chuck were taken by the El Muchos Diablos drug cartel. Awesome goes in looking like the tough FBI agent (but almost repeats his “RIPPED A BEAR’S HEAD OFF” lie when he fails to bluff the cartel properly) so that Sarah can go in the back, kick ass, take names, and save the day.

15, 5, and 6 join the circus! What are their roles?

Chuck Bartowski, Parker (from Leverage), and Natasha join the circus. Natasha has an awesome knife-throwing act. Chuck is her jumping, terrified assistant (she does not make things easy for him, throwing the knives ever closer to his skin solely to mess with him). Parker is an acrobat, but gets disgruntled when she finds out the management won’t let her go on without a safety net.

Two weeks later, Chuck wakes up and discovers that the circus has been robbed twice in the night. Also, he has two business cards in his pocket, both with lipstick kisses and the words “Call me” on them. He listens to neither, calls Sarah, apologizes for whatever stupid thing he did that led to him getting kicked out, and fixes his relationship with her.

The "Chicago's Most Wanted" prompt: 14 gets hit on the head and wakes up thinking (s)he's a con artist and thief. What shenanigans ensue? Can 4 catch this new criminal in time to avoid disaster?

A mustachioed wakes up in a dive bar two blocks from Michigan Avenue with a few wallets in a bag. The bartender refers to him as “Ron Swanson,” which he knows is not his name. It doesn’t take him long to realize that he’s clearly some sort of pickpocket-con-artist. He is confused when going out onto the street and telling people, “Give me all the wallets and purses you have” proves unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Captain Awesome, newly transplanted to Chicago, walks in to his newest patient’s room (that much cholesterol is bad for the heart) to discover that Ron Swanson has vanished. The new Chief of Staff is one of the .00001% on the planet that doesn’t like Awesome, so Awesome’s job is on the line, unless he can find the missing Ron Swanson and the trash bag of patients’ wallets he’d lifted from Lost and Found.

2, 4, 6 and 15 were college roommates. How well did they along and who hooked up?

Abed Nadir, Captain Awesome, and Chuck Bartowski were college roommates. Things got rough between Chuck and Awesome when Awesome started dating Chuck’s sister, but they eventually made up (and Chuck bought earplugs because seriously, nobody needs to know that kind of information about their sister). Abed and Chuck bonded over a love of pop culture.

1 and 12 open a business together -- what is it?

Kevin Ryan and Sarah Walker open a business together. It sells organic beauty products. All of Ryan’s cop buddies mock him for it until Sarah walks in and then their tongues all roll on the ground.

9, 10 and 13 are on a TV sitcom -- what's the name and plot of the show?

Mary Crawley, Britta Perry, and Walter Bishop are on a TV sitcom called Odd Bobs. It’s cancelled after 13 episodes, but the episodes were picked up by a UPN-like channel and syndicated, where they became a cult-like hit. Mixing a slacker with an aristocrat in a single apartment with a hilariously creepy older neighbor and expecting them to fight zombies was a bit much for audiences to take in 2006, but now the fandom is growing and the actors are in talks to bring the series back as a hour-long drama on the CW. It will ultimately fall through, to be picked up by NBC in two years, and Britta replaced by a young black man, who will be the source of many fandom wars.

Parker, Anna Smith-Bates, and Walter Bishop are on a heist show. In the pilot, Anna Smith's new husband, John Bates, is framed and put in prison. She enlists the help of her neighbor Parker to find some way to sneak into the prison and break him out, but their plans are ground to a halt when they realize they lack the proper equipment to break into the prison. Enter Walter Bishop, a mad scientist whose relationship with sanity is not a close or personal one. The three of them break into the prison in a very madcap fashion, just in time for John Bates to vanish before they can get to him. Anna discovers there is more to her husband than he let on, and now the three of them are embroiled in a conspiracy so deep, it goes all the way to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom...

Captain Awesome, a union soldier, must convince Clint Barton he is a time traveler from 1865 at the end of the Civil War, come forward in time to warn his ancestors of an alien threat that will soon attack Charlottesville, Virginia. He is lucky that Clint is secretly a history nut that attends reenactments when he's sure Natasha can't follow, and recognizes the uniform he wears as legitimate. The two of them race to stop the alien invasion, and Clint Barton is thrown into a time loop when Awesome is killed and Barton realizes he's a direct descendant of this blue-eyed soldier. Now it's up to Hawkeye to make sure history repeats itself.

3, 8, and 13 must rescue 10 from the evil clutches of 4. Do they succeed?

Olivia Dunham, Clint Barton, and Walter Bishop must rescue Britta Perry from the evil clutches of Captain Awesome. It's a touch and go battle, considering that Captain Awesome's been secretly Russian this time, and he pulls the ultimate deadpan defense. Hawkeye gives him a good battle in the cargo area of the Helicarrier (but gets knocked out), Walter Bishop throws Fringe science at him (but is distracted by Red Vines), so it's up to Olivia to Dunham him. Hooray! Britta Perry is saved!

6 and 9 meet at a rock-paper-scissors tournament only to find out they must face each other in the championship round. Do they let their competition stand in the way of their burgeoning relationship?

It's a brief, but torrid affair between the Russian and aristocrat as Natasha Romanoff and Mary Crawley share pretzels and watch the other decimate the competition. There are sweet nothings murmured to each other as the competition falls; Natasha tells Mary of the cold days of Mother Russia, and Mary gives her bored recitals of the Season in London. It's a match made in a very scary part of heaven. In the end, though, Mary's pride proves too great for both of them. Her rock beats Natasha's scissors, smashing their newfound love to a pulp.
